Course: Introduction to Teaching Multilingual Learners (Part I and II)
Description: This is a two-part series in which participants will learn about our diverse school community and how to effectively instruct English Learners/Multilingual Learners. This course offers collaboration opportunities in Canvas.
Course Dates: April 16 (10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., or 3:00 p.m.) and April 28 (3:45 p.m.)

Course: Implicit Biases (Part I and II)
Description: This is a three-part series in which participants will learn about implicit biases, how they work, and effective strategies/skills for monitoring their biases, how to be change agents, and changing the narrative. Participants will also learn effective strategies for responding to a hateful act whether in their classroom, school, or community. Participants will review and discuss a series of case studies to develop strategies for responding to hateful acts. There will be a Canvas component to this course. The course will be interactive and will provide participants with an opportunity to self-reflect and collaborate with other participants.
