New principals for the 2019-2020 School Year

Four new principals for next school yearSome familiar faces and some new ones are joining the administrative team at Roanoke City Public Schools.  The following schools will have new leaders next school year:  Patrick Henry High School, Lucy Addison Middle, Woodrow Wilson Middle, and Round Hill Elementary.  Congratulations on your new positions. 

Let's meet the new principals:

Anthony Frazier

Anthony Frazier is the new principal of Patrick Henry High School.  He has 28 years of experience in education, including four years as a high school principal.  Parents, staff, and students are invited to meet Mr. Frazier Wednesday, July 17 at 5:30 p.m.  It will take place in Patrick Henry's Atrium.

Andy Wheeling

Andy Wheeling is the new principal of Lucy Addison Middle School.  Mr. Wheeling has 14 years of experience in administration.  He most recently served as a principal at a Department of Defense School in Germany.  He joins the administrative team with Johnay Lee and Jonathan Rosser.  Once Mr. Wheeling completes his relocation from Germany to Roanoke, we will schedule a Meet and Greet. 

Katherine Duncan

Mrs. Katherine Duncan is the new principal of Round Hill Elementary.  Mrs. Duncan was a special education teacher at William Fleming High School, and most recently, was the assistant principal at James Madison Middle.  Staff, students, and parents are invited to meet Mrs. Duncan on Tuesday, July 30 at 5:30 in Round Hill's cafeteria.

Bradley Jenkins

Bradley Jenkins is the new principal of Woodrow Wilson Middle School.  Mr. Jenkins was previously an assistant principal at Patrick Henry and William Fleming High Schools.  Mr. Jenkins will host a Meet and Greet Thursday, August 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Woodrow Wilson Middle.
